There can be no room in County Government for frivolous expenditures, embarrassing lapses or less than professional leadership. Candice will respect the citizens by prudently and intelligently approaching the budget and valuing and protecting County employees. A “no-frills” common sense professionalism and an unyielding work ethic will bring Charles County back to the time when our fund balance was substantial and our debt ratio was cautious and responsible. Candice will lead by example with prudent governance and humility. Candice will approach the office of the President of the County Commissioners as a “public servant” , as it should be.
